Richland Library Announces  Expansion of Services with Minimal Contact

Richland Library

Richland Library has announced the following expansion of services with minimal contact.

Starting today, there are more options for curbisde pick-up of holds.  Upon receiving notification that your holds are ready for pick up, you can access them from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday at the Blythewood, Cooper, Eastover, Edgewood, Lower Richland, Main, North Main and Wheatley locations.  (As a reminder, the Ballentine, Northeast, Sandhills, Southeast and St. Andrews locations continue to offer pick-up services through their drive-thru windows or at curbside.)

In addition, remote printing is available at all 13 library locations from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday (just upload your documents through our website and pick them up at the drive-thru windows or at curbside).

Free WiFi access also continues to be available outside of 12 of their 13 library locations  (all locations except Sandhills) and outdoor seating is available for WiFi users at Ballentine, Blythewood, Northeast, Southeast, St. Andrews and Wheatley (we ask that you wear face coverings and practice safe social distancing while using these public spaces).

Book drops for returned materials continue to be available at all 13 locations, and items are quarantined for 96 hours before being recirculated.  And, you can continue to get one-on-one telephone assistance by calling any library location from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday-Saturday.

In the interest of public safety, all library buildings remain closed to customers at this time. The latest updates regarding operations are available over the phone, on our website at RichlandLibrary.com and through our social media channels.
